On October 30th, in Moncalieri (TO, opens a site specific installation of Antonio Riello: DIVIETO DI AFFISSIONE. It will celebrate the theme of Paratissima Art Fair for this Art Week in Torino: "Foolish".

Riello's installation involves the town hall of Moncalieri, its facade sports 3 wide white sheets on which are sewn three words: DIVIETO DI AFFISSIONE (NO POSTING ALLOWED). The formal prohibition contradicts itself. Voilà!

The big lettering has been imagined as a form of "motley": it is in fact a sort of patchwork where fragments of different kind of regenerated fabrics are put together. An act of "public amending" (with a sustainable inspiration).
