The Company Collections curated by ARTantide Gallery
AcomeA SGR| Società di gestione del risparmio
The Collezione dei Valori of AcomeA SGR was created to give visual shape to the core pillars that guide its operations: transparency, independence, and a human-centered approach. Through this project, AcomeA SGR aims to highlight how the acquisition of artwork reflects the company's fundamental values, promoting a corporate culture aligned with ESG principles for Sustainable Development. The Company views art as a tool to generate social and intellectual value, transforming its spaces into a place for reflection where financial ethics meet creativity—for the benefit of employees, clients, and the wider community.
The exhibition path begins right at the entrance, where clients are immediately welcomed by the colorful universe of David Gerstein. The vitality of his works infuses creativity and joy into everyday life through vibrant worlds filled with movement and lightheartedness. In Pelaton Wave (fig. 1), the artist captures the dynamism of a bicycle race, a symbol of collective effort. In this context, competition is interpreted by AcomeA SGR as fair play based on mutual respect for the rules. The company's independence from banking groups ensures that its own "race" always takes place on an ethically level playing field.
David Gerstein's reflection on movement continues with the selection of Photo Finish (fig. 2). Through bright colors and layered compositions, the artwork celebrates a dynamism that deviates from the norm, featuring figures moving in the opposite direction of the conventional flow. This choice reflects AcomeA SGR’s contrarian philosophy: the ability to select opportunities independently of market consensus. The firm adopts an investment methodology focused on uncovering unrecognized potential, acting autonomously relative to the dominant stream.
The dialogue between art and strategy deepens with Beirut to Gaza by Riccardo Gusmaroli (fig. 3), where altered maps and paper-boat origami challenge official conventions to create "intriguing paths yet to be deciphered." The artwork fits into the artist's exploration of travel and discovery, understood as a redefinition of geographical codes and boundaries. By intervening on the map—traditionally an emblem of certainty and orientation—Gusmaroli alters its meaning to instill doubt about the absolute nature of representation, favoring the discovery of new mental geographies. AcomeA SGR shares Gusmaroli's impulse to look beyond appearances, fostering the critical thinking essential to deciphering markets.
From geographical routes, the focus shifts to the historical trajectories of our economy through Yuri Olegovic's series La Lira Pesante (fig. 4), sparking novel reflections on the concepts of value and identity. The artist transforms the historic currency into a pop icon and a vehicle for cultural memory, inviting viewers to rediscover the deeper meaning of savings. In this light, savings are not conceived as mere accumulation, but as a historic pillar of security and stability. Operating with due diligence, the company aligns itself with Goal 8 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (Decent Work and Economic Growth), promoting inclusive economic growth and a relationship with money rooted in awareness and dignity.
The focus then shifts to the relational dimension with the painting 9 AM Milan (fig. 5) by Natalie Silva, which captures human connection in the heart of the metropolis. In a setting like Milan, often described as chaotic and noisy, the figures are fully grounded in time and space—and, above all, truly connected. The figures projecting toward the viewer create a spatial continuity that serves as a metaphor for AcomeA SGR's operating philosophy: building a dynamic, participatory relationship with clients. Total transparency and ongoing dialogue allow investors to "step into the picture" of financial decisions through a partnership built on fairness.
The collection concludes with the Backstreetboys series (fig. 6), a critique of the obsession with short-term profit that prompts reflection on investment responsibility. AcomeA SGR embraces this challenge by managing community savings responsibly, countering frenetic individualism with the creation of long-term sustainable value. The integration of ESG criteria thus becomes the practical application of a desire for ethical value, transforming capital into a tool for positive social impact.
